A few weeks before he had ordered a family meeting where he cryptically asked them each what type of funeral they would want.
So, in order to save their souls, he killed them and sent them to heaven. During a four-hour jailhouse interview, John said he killed his family because he didn’t want them to worry about financial hardships. His business had failed, and they were going to lose their home.
